Here’s how our system works:
Source constituents contact us with information about their tree(s): size, species, location, condition. Preferably that information is supplied with a digital photograph taken from the nearest point of access.

That information goes into our database. If the tree is not of saw quality, arrangements can made to help with removal by member tree service professionals, or firewood services.
Woodworkers, builders, and manufacturers who are using wood products and care about their source, contact us for material. We secure standing orders for custom-cut lumber or finished products. As trees fall our orders are linked to the nearest buyer and the trees are processed to their specifications, whether they want green, dried, custom millwork or furniture. Buyers can order from suitable pre-milled product from our inventory when available.
When a match is found, we confirm the order, secure a deposit when necessary, then our member processors prepare the order. Upon completion we accept the balance of the funds which will be disbursed upon satisfactory delivery, less our small commission.
Ideally, sources and buyers will be in close proximity reducing the need for shipping costs and wasted fuel!
